Romeo and Juliet

After Romeo and Juliet died the families grieved then had an all out war in the city of verona. After they started the war the prince could do nothing to stop it they blame each other for what happened so they are trying to end each others blood line. They had been fighting for weeks they have lost the same amount of men and then it is only the fathers of the capulets and montagues kill each other. When they die the town has been burnt to the ground it is a wreck.

If Romeo lived and juliet died I think he would have lived for 2 more years then he would have taken his own life after her deaths second anniversary. He would have killed himself while placing flowers on her grave.

The Essendon Saga

Pesonally I am glad that this is over and the charges have been laid because it was getting beyond a joke what the media was speculating and i think Essendon deserved the punishment that they got they cheated now they have to pay the price I am also glad that they arent allowed to play finals because now the team I barrack for Carlton look like making the finals which is good but I am not being byest i think they shouldve got suspended for what they did no matter which team took there place in the finals. I think that once James Hird has served his 12 months on the sidelines he will come back and coach them again i also think that Essendon will do quite well next year if they dont cheat because they have a good side. I think that next year Essendon will try and get Bomber Thompson to coach while James Hird isnt allowed he is cleary a good coach when he is given the chance to he did a great job with Geelong for a while and i think he is the obvious choice for Essendon and he will do a good job for them.

Work Experience 2

I got a rude awakening on what being a tradesman is like you have to work hard all day or you dont get much done and the days you have to work are long 8-5 or 6 depending on how we were going for time on a job. On Monday i started at 8 and worked in noorat first replacing a compressor on an Air Conditioner then we had to go to The Sisters and pick up an Outdoor unit of an Air Conditioner then we travelled back to mortlake I was working with a Qualified Refrigeration Technition Clinton that day and we had lunch after lunch we had to go install an AirConditioner in Mortlake that took us until about 4 then we had to go to my old school and have a look at a fridge that wasent working we put a new thermostat then it was the end of the day.
TUesday i started at 8 again I was working with three others we went to Camperdown and put in a big ducted system that took until 2:30 then we travelled back to Mortlake were Clinton and i had to go back to the school second day running to have a look at an Air Conditioner that wasent working it had a stuffed compresser that couldnt be replaced then we went back to the companys shed in Mortlake and i got to burn some stuff for them and then unpacked an order of stuff for them then it was knock off time.
Wednesday I started at 8 i was working with Troy one of the bosses for the day we went to the woolslorpe school first and covered up some wires and pipes from an Air Conditioner then when we finished that we went to a Dairy near Koroit which stunk alot and we wired in a new feeding system for them after that job was done we went to another dairy and had a look at a vat which wasent working and fixed that then it was 5 and we travelled back to Mortlake and finished for the day.
Thursday i started at 8 first we went and dropped off a new Outdoor unit for that broken Air Conditioner at the school then we went back to the shed were I was sent with Clinton and Adam for the day we were working in Hamilton putting in another big ducted system in a brand new house that took all day to do so we travelled back to Mortlake it was about 5:30 when we got back.
Friday i started at 8 again everyone went to warrnambool that day we were all working at the local newspaper The Standard we had to move wires and the jets on a ducted Air Conditioner that day the bosses took us all for a counter meal because it was my last day working with them so that was nice then we went back and finished at The Standards office when we finished it was 5 then I went back to Mortlake and before i knew it my week of work experience was over and I was so sore from climbing in roofs and being up and down a ladder all week but it was a fun week which i enjoyed alot.

Case Study

Najeeba from Afghanistan fled her country at the age of 12 because her family is Hazara a minority that was being persecuted which meant whenever they went out in public they would have to put up with constent abuse and threats. Everyday she witnessed one of her neighbours or friends were being kidnapped and weren't seen again. She also knew people who were made sell there daughters and their sons had been taken by the taliban and turned into soldiers to fight for the taliban. Before they left the taliban closed down there school because girls were being tought there then the taliban killed the iranian teacher who kept teaching the girls at her house. Najeebas father organised for them to leave the country and travel to pakistan by bus , car and foot. they didn't have passports or any paperwork with them but her father managed to get them on a plane out of pakistan to indonesia where from there they got on a boat and travelled for several days to Australia while on their way here the boat was that crowded that they had to hold there knees against there chest to fit. They were sea sick and scared of drowning after 10 days the Australian navy picked them up and brought them here to a detention centre in WA. While they were in the detention centre they would see people start to fight then they would just go crazy but the day finally arrived when they got their visa's granted they were so happy then they were let out of the detention centre and they are now living a normal life were they dont have to worry about being abused or threatend when they go outside in public.

Go Back To Where You Came From

Go Back To Where You Came From
This program was a eye opener at what asylum seekers go through to come to Australia and to have a better life it was great to see the people go through what asylum seekers go throught to get to Australia and how they live now that they are in Australia and to here what they went through in their own countries. Some went through torture others went through when there houses were invaded by soldiers and what those soldiers did to there family and what they went through after these traumatic events and then what they went through while they were on the boat on there way to Australia and what the boat ride was like and how many people were on the same boat and the conditions that they incounted on there way here to a better life and how much they love living here were it is free and a peaceful country where they can live there life and dont have to worry about war or anything like that.

Persuasive Response

1. My opinion on this topic about asylum seekers having to wait in a detention centre while they are being processed is that they should have to wait in a detention centre but i think the Australian Government needs to find a much faster way to process their applications for refugee status because some people do spend way to much time waiting for there claim to go through.
I think that it is only fair for them to have to wait in a detention centre because for all we know one of them could be a criminal and if they were just aloud to go straight out in the public they might start committing crimes but if they wait in a detention centre we can stop this from happening and it is only fair because they have come here without any paperwork or anything so the goverment does need to find out who they are.

The amount of people coming by boat has increased over the last two years has in creased and the amount of boats coming to Australia has also increased so there are becoming more and more claims to try and process so thats why the asylum seekers have to wait so long because there are more to process.
The Australian government has said that asylum seekers might have to wait for 5 years in a detention centre for there claim to go through that in my eyes is way to long to have a person in a detention centre that part i dont agree with i think that they should have to wait for 6- 12 months maximum then they should be released and left alone to live there life in peace because they have clearly come from a place that isnt peaceful and they just want a better life for themselves and there family.
I dont think that making them wait for 5 years is fair at all that is not right to have them in a detention centre for that long and to keep knocking people back for there claims for refugee status and then to keep putting them back in detention centres that is cruel to do that in Go back to where you came from they went and visited a detention centre one of the people in there was on his third and final attemp to get refugee status and if he failed at getting it he would be sent back to his own country and he said he would kill himself before he would go back there because of what would happen to him if he went back to his own country which isnt fair because he has been in that detention centre for way to long and he should have been processed and let out of the detention centre a while ago.
So in conclusion i think that they people who come by boat should have to wait in a detention centre before they are let out of the detention centre but they shouldnt have to wait for up to 5 years that is not good enough by the Australian Government.
